Luis: Seeing as this past weekend was the last weekend Natalia or I would be spending in Utah for the year, Diane really wanted us all to have some sort of Christmas festivity.

Natalia: And I thought, “Celebrate Christmas twice?! Genius!”

Luis: So, we kicked off the celebration be all eating at IHOP, where I not only had half an omelet and pancakes, but also half of a ham-and-egg melt with fries!

Natalia: I couldn’t decide between the pumpkin pancakes and the eggnog pancakes. So I did what any skillful lawyer would do… I hoodwinked Amy into ordering the opposite of me and sharing :)

Luis: And then it was on to the much-talked-about Festival of Trees!

Natalia: We walked
and walked
and walked
and by the end of the outing, I officially decided that I need to get a second degree in Christmas tree decorating if I am ever to allow anyone into my home during the holidays

Luis: I thought the colors were pretty.

Natalia: Amateur.

Luis: Amateur!? Who put this site together… hmmmm?!???

Natalia: Next stop: tree shopping!

Luis: All of us “helped” pick out a Christmas tree the sweetest tree on the lot. (To be honest, we goofed off the whole time. I know I played no part in picking the tree.)

Natalia: But hey, at least we got out of the car (which was more than most of those present wanted to do).

Luis: Hey! I was tired from all of that walking and walking and walking and walking… Anywho, here’s a quick glimpse into the day’s activities:

Natalia: P.S. Dennis was with us the entire day, but was somehow able to avoid being caught in any of the pictures.
