I’ve been waiting and waiting very impatiently for my Birchbox to arrive. Luis can attest that I’ve been stalking our mailbox waiting for its arrival. I had ordered my first Birchbox way back in February, but I was too late for the March shipment and had to wait until April. Thursday it finally came. This month’s theme is in honor of Earth Day.

Inside the packaging box is the actual Birchbox:

I’ve never used a peel, but I’m interested in trying this. The full size product is 2 fl. oz. for $45. I got 1/4 of the full size (so the equivalent of $11.25 worth of the product).

This has a really fresh, light smell. Reminds me of spring and blossoms blooming. The full size is 3.4 fl. oz for $60. The sample size is pretty small, but I don’t know that I love the scent enough to care to have more than what they’ve given.

This is one product I’m really excited to try. I’ve never had to use much in terms of facial moisturizers, but I’ve noticed that my face is more dry here in Nevada. The full size is 1 fl. oz. for $28. I got a tiny 0.17 fl. oz. sample (so a little less than $5.00 worth of the product).

Now this was the product I was most excited to see. I loved the sparkly gray color (Carolina, you would love this) and can’t wait to try it. The full size is 0.5 fl. oz. for $8. I got 1/2 sample size (so $4 worth).

This was the cute little Birchbox extra this month. I’m actually kind of excited to plant it in our little backyard to see what the flowers look like. Hope it actually grows in this desert.

And here is everything put together. When I started seeing people on YouTube with their Birchboxes, I became really impatient. At first I was going to wait to get mine and be surprised with what was in it. But I broke down 2 nights ago and just watched a bunch of videos of other people’s Birchboxes. I just couldn’t wait anymore! At first I was a little disappointed that I didn’t get one of the other boxes that I thought were a little bit better. But now that I’ve gone through my box, I’m really excited to try the products I received.
