If you happen to be Facebook friends with Luis, by now you should know that it is his birthday. This year he has taken matters into his own hands by changing his profile picture to this:

Even if he hadn’t prompted me to leave him a comment, I can’t help but take a minute to tell all our readers that Luis is one pretty amazing husband. I know everyone thinks their husband is pretty great (ok, maybe not everyone… the clients that come to my office don’t think that). But Luis really is amazing. And he gets better and better every day. He has basically been waiting on me hand and foot since I started feeling sick last December.

For Luis’ last 4 birthdays, I’ve gone all out with throwing him amazing parties. This year, he gets nothing. Not even a birthday present. Why? Because I’ve had a rough week feeling sick and just couldn’t get anything together. But even though I didn’t get him a present, it doesn’t change the fact that I love him more than life itself :) And guess what? I’m not the only one who thinks Luis is pretty much the best thing since sliced bread. See for yourself (this is a video I helped create back in 2007):
