Last year, I put together a little Valentine for Graciela to give to her bff’s (the Bindrups). This year, I had grand ideas of doing a valentine with her picture (something a la Pinterest). However, she wasn’t cooperating and I was running out of patience. So instead of a personalized valentine, I made them gluten-free heart-shaped chocolate chip cookies, and Luis had our family picture mounted for them (we are not quite that egocentric… Suzy had been asking us for a copy of our family picture since last Christmas). 

I usually can’t resist getting Graciela a holiday-inspired outfit. This year I purchased a little red long sleeved top, with a big snowflake heart:

I had even purchased red tights with white snowflakes. It would have been perfect (to me). But Luis didn’t think this was very Valentines-ey, and Graciela ripped holes in the knees of the tights the first day she wore them. So Luis chose this outfit for her instead:
