valiversary outing
February 9, 2013
After our awesome dinner at McCormick & Schmick’s, we wanted to do something fun. Something we don’t get to do very often with a toddler at home. So we went to the Eastside Cannery to play Bingo!

Since we were there anyway, I convinced Luis to sign up for player’s cards so we could get a couple of bucks of free slot play. It took me all of two seconds to burn through the funds on my card (and no, I wasn’t in the mood to spend my own money playing so I stopped right there). Luis, on the other hand, made out with $28.11. Not too shabby (even if that only covered the tip we paid for dinner).

By then, it was late (well, late for our standards… 11:15). So we headed off to the hotel we got for the night (thank you so much Suzy for keeping Graciela for the night for us!)

Before we left the house, I asked Luis if he had already checked in. He had. I then asked if he had been up to the room. He responded, just briefly to drop off our bag. I made sure he had brought me work clothes, and was satisfied. I had no idea that he had set this up for me :)

(We had diet cherry 7-Up in the champagne flutes… it was pink and super cute!)

And he dipped his own chocolate-covered strawberries for me.

It was our best Valiversary to date!
