According to Walmart, THAT is how much (at minimum) it costs to (and I quote) “Get Everything You Need to File Your Taxes for Less.”  Things I NEED!? … FOR LESS!? DOUBLE-YOU-TEE-EFF!?!

Apparently, Walmart asserts that you NEED a Laptop… and that you NEED TurboTax… and that you NEED a freaking EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE to (and I quote) “store your tax documents…” DOUBLE-YOU-TEE-EFF!?!

Yah, my tax return was approximately 146.4 gigs… It’s a good thing I ALREADY had 3 external hard drives… DOUBLE-YOU-TEE-EFF!?!

I feel sorry for the poor sap who receives that in their inbox, and promptly makes a trip to Walmart to purchase those “necessities.” Wait, on second thought… I don’t. If they’re stupid enough to fall for this crap, then its probably best they not have an extra $640 at their disposal…
