Look who came to visit

We love to have visitors stay with us in our home. These are the posts that showcase those visitors who come through Las Vegas and step in to say hello.

Glen and Aline!

Well, technically my aunt, Aline, and her husband, Glen, did not actually come to Las Vegas just to see us. They were here to celebrate Glen’s birthday and their anniversary. Of course, that didn’t stop them from wanting to take us out to dinner. So we picked them up from the airport and headed to one of our favorites, Lucille’s BBQ. We joked, we laughed, we complained about our waitress who was trying to hurry us out of the restaurant even though we arrived a full half hour before closing thanks to my awesome driving skills. All in all, a great time was had by all (I hope).

Jilleun and Kelvin were returning to Utah from their wedding reception in California and decided to stop to visit. They missed going to see fireworks with us Sunday night, so we did the next best thing– stayed up until 2 a.m. chatting the night away. Yesterday morning, we slept in and then went to the Original Pancake House for breakfast.

Good food. Great company. What more can you ask for?

FLAVIO!

Flavio came to town on a business meeting and had enough time to spend the evening with me… and his 2 co-workers. Luckily his co-workers were really nice and we had a good time. We went to the Rio’s buffet. Honestly, the food wasn’t all that great so I stuck with the crab legs and shrimp. And for dessert, I had a little bit of everything :)

Thanks for dinner big bro!

fairytale

Once upon a time, there was a girl who, for the most part, lived all alone in a city far, far away. That girl had a few friends who came to visit her and was able to bask in the excitement of having the ability to enjoy some of the things that the city had to offer. She waited and waited for her friends to send her pictures of their adventures so that she could blog about them and make more people excited to go visit her. Unfortunately, none of those friends sent her any pictures and now no one will know how much fun they had. The end.
